CONTEST RULES
“Herbal Magic – 1 year of FREE service”

1. “Contest Period” starts at 12:01am on Monday, February 8th, 2010, up until 11:59pm on Thursday, February 25th, 2010 (the “Contest Closing Date”).  Log on to Q92’s (CJQQ) website at www.q92timmins.com during the Contest Period and complete an entry ballot in full for the “Herbal Magic” Contest by redeeming 200 Q92 Club Q Rockstar points (non-Club Q Rock Star members must log-on to www.q92timmins.com) to be submitted by the Contest Closing Date. 
  
 A random draw will be made on Friday, February 26th, 2010 from all the eligible entries received as of the contest closing date by a Rogers’ representative at 260 Second Avenue, Timmins, Ontario, P4N 8A4.
 
 The selected entrant will be contacted by email at the email address indicated on the selected entrant’s entry form. 

 If a selected entrant cannot be reached by Monday, March 1st, 2010, or incorrectly answers the skill testing question or declines the prize another entrant will be selected on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010. 

 Selected entrant may not have won any other prize on Q92 within the last 30 days.  If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant.  The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry.  All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search.  The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).

2. No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary to enter this Contest.

3. The Contest is open to all residents of Northeastern Ontario 19 years of age and older, except employees of Q92, Rogers Broadcasting Ltd., its parent company, affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, full time employees of participating sponsors and any persons residing in their respective households.  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

4.   Only one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded consisting of 1 year of free services from Herbal Magic including consultation and one-on-one counseling.  DOES NOT INCLUDE PRODUCT.  Approximate retail value is $750 CAD (total does not include taxes).

5. Q92 FM reserves the right to substitute the Grand Prize throughout the Contest Period.  No substitutions for, or transfer of the Grand Prize will be allowed and the Grand Prize is not convertible to cash.

6. All decisions of the judges are final. Q92 FM reserves the right to modify these official rules as necessary.

7. All entries become property of Q92 FM who assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.  Q92 FM reserves the right, in its sole discretion; to cancel or suspend the email portion of this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Rogers corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Q92 FM reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

8. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants. 

9. By entering this Contest, each Contestant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, and city of residence and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Q92 FM and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation.  Winners consent to their photograph being taken by Q92 FM for such use, without further compensation.  All entries become the property of Rogers.

10. Q92 FM is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest.  No further informational or marketing communications will be received by the entrant unless the entrant provides Q92 FM with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form.  Please see our Privacy Policy at www.rogers.com for full information on the Q92 FM policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.

11. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Q92 FM.  Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest.
