CONTEST RULES
“Q92’s Medal Head”

1. “Contest Period” starts at 12:01am on Monday, February 8th, 2010, up until 11:59pm on Saturday, February 27th, 2010 (the “Contest Closing Date”).  To enter, log on to Q92’s (CJQQ) website at www.q92timmins.com and sign up for a free Q92 Club Q Rockstar membership by fully completing the sign up information and redeeming 100 Rockstar Points towards a ballot in the “Q92’s Medal Head” contest before the “Contest Closing Date.” If you are already a member of the Q92 Club Q Rockstar, log onto your account and redeem 100 Rockstar Points. All times are Eastern Times.

 NO PURCHASE NECESSARY  

A random draw by a Rogers Broadcasting Limited (“Rogers”) representative as represented by Q92 “Q92” at 260 Second Avenue, Timmins, Ontario, P4N 8A4 will be made starting Saturday, February 13th up to and including Sunday, February 28th, 2010, on each “Draw Date” from all eligible entries received as of 7:00am of the Draw Date at approximately 7:30am.  Selected entrant will be deemed “Q92’s Meal Head” beginning at the time of announcement until 11:59pm that calendar day. Non selected entries will be carried forward. 
 
  Selected entrant will be eligible to win a $100 gift certificate from Krazy Krazy Audiotronics based on the following condition:
 a) A Canadian athlete in Vancouver reaches the top of the podium in any sporting event between 12:01am and 11:59pm on the date the selected entrant was pronounced the daily Q92 Medal Head.

 If the selected entrant isn’t eligible to win the $100 gift certificate, based upon the criteria above, then 10,000 Club Q Rockstar points will be automatically credited to the selected entrant’s Club Q Rockstar account.

 Selected entrant will be contact by e-mail to the address listed on their Club Q Rockstar account with the prize results.

 You may enter as many times as you like as long as you have enough points for each entry.   Selected entrant may not have won any other prize on Q92 within the last 30 days.  If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant.  The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry.  All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search.  The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).

2. No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary to enter this Contest.

3. All prizes must be accepted as awarded.  Rogers reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.

4. In order to win, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited, mathematical skill testing question, posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time.  Rogers judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes.
5. Contestants will be required to return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being declared a winner.

6. The Contest is open to all residents of Northeastern Ontario 18 years of age and older, as of the date of entry, except employees of Rogers, its parent company, affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, full time employees of participating sponsors and any persons residing in their respective households.  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

7.   Only one (1) Grand Prize will be awarded to EACH qualifying entrant based on the above conditions and consisting of a $100 gift certificate to Krazy Krazy Audiotronics in Timmins, Ontario.

8. All decisions of the judges are final. Rogers reserves the right to modify these official rules as necessary.

9. All entries become property of Rogers who assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the Contest.  Rogers reserves the right, in its sole discretion; to cancel or suspend the email portion of this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Rogers corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Rogers reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

10. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants. 

11. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.  Rogers is unaware of how many entrants there may be.  The winners may come from any geographic area, so long as they otherwise qualify to enter the contest.

12.  All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Rogers.  Rogers takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.

13. By entering this Contest, each Contestant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, and city of residence and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Rogers and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation.  Winners consent to their photograph being taken by Rogers for such use, without further compensation.  All entries become the property of Rogers.

14. Rogers is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest.  No further informational or marketing communications will be received by the entrant unless the entrant provides Rogers with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form.  Please see our Privacy Policy at www.rogers.com for full information on Rogers policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.

15. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Rogers.  Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest.
